What customers say?

“ A pleasant surprise to find this eatery. Although prices were well above hawker prices, the food quality, portion, service and dining comfort are pluses that's worth the visit. Both dry type with base sauces are good (black with ketchup or original). Egg noodles were well cooked. Wantons (2pc for a small bowl) were quite meaty but lacks water chestnut bits I like. I prefer the shrimp dumplings. Overall, a satisfying meal. Happy to add another place to visit for a great wanton noodle meal. ”

“ Springy noodles. Standard card board char siew. Portions are not big, even large. Consider add extra noodles option. The 5 spice meat roll is pretty good. Most probably made in house. Cool music selection. ”

“ Go for the Sides, Stay for the Chicken Feet Magic! While the wanton noodle itself is perfectly al dente (which is great!) and the sauce is normal and on the lighter side, the real stars of this stall are the accompanying dishes. MUST TRY #1: The Fried Dumpling. This is an unexpected champion. The meat inside the fried dumpling is incredibly fragrant, savory, and packed with umami—it’s seasoned perfectly without being excessively salty. MUST TRY #2: The Braised Chicken Feet. This dish is a major surprise! They are perfectly "Q" (bouncy) yet incredibly tender, allowing the meat and bone to separate with ease. They hold together beautifully on the chopsticks, but once they hit your mouth, they practically disappear like magic. Absolutely superb. Honestly, the rest of the menu is okay, but these two items alone make the trip worthwhile. Load up on the dumplings and chicken feet! ”

“ Food sharing IG @ jkgourmets 美食分享尽在 IG @ jkgourmets Honestly, visiting this eatery without any expectations. Just a morning road trip food hunting. Seeing quite a good Google reviews and decided to give it a try even the crowded morning coffeeshop is around the corner. The noodles texture was good, even though the noodles was pretty thin but texture was bold yet slight chewy. Especially good on their base seasoning taste, very balance yet not overly spicy. Great flavours. Charsiew meat wasn't perfect but good enough for the overall taste. Wantan dumplings was in three okay size, delicious and good soup. Overall, its really an consistent taste with full of traditional flavours. The wantan noodle was simply yet satisfying. With some of the additional side dishes, not the key and not necessary to order unless a plate Wantan Noodle is too small portion for you. Taste is okay. In fact, overall the most surprising is the quality of the noodles, I believe it wasn't simply ordered from factory, perhaps have it's own recipe. Overall, a surprise great local eatery. Reasonable price. Simple environment. Quick services. Highly recommended. ”

“ IMO one of the best wanton noodles in the east, been having it for many years already. Coffee is good, prawn cake & dumpling is good. They have new prawn fritters on the menu, yet to try but I believe it’s gonna be as good. The noodles is light and soft, unlike the outside the usual egg noodles which is heavier on the stomach & digestion. ”

“ The noodles are well cooked, individual strands, sauce is flavourful. The charsiew is towards the cardboard style so the dish kinds of harmonizes into a older school taste and feel. The vegetables were surprisingly good, not bitter, not raw. They also have some fried prawns which uses ngoh hiang batter and chili dip. ”

“ This wanton mee is really good. The noodles are the Hong Kong type, thin with slight firmness. Chilli sauce for the noodle is excellent and not overly spicy. There is pork lard with this dish and these are fresh and crispy. The wanton is tasty but the soup is slightly warm rather than hot. The char siew is sliced too thinly though. The chicken feet is tender and tasty. The ngoh hiang is crispy and has good five spice flavour. The chicken wings are small and look dry but is actually flavourful and tender. Service here is very good. The lady at the counter is very patient and service oriented. CDC vouchers are redeemable at this shop. ”
